ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- All northbound lanes reopened just after noon following an accident in which a tractor-trailer hit the Hungry Hollow overpass that initially resulted in the closure of all three lanes on a stretch of I-87 Wednesday morning at the Spring Valley tolls.
The 9:30 a.m. accident involved an excavator being trailered and resulted in stop-and-go delays to Exit 14A (northbound Garden State Parkway connector).
There were also rubber-necking delays on the southbound lanes.
