The building, which previously housed the Rockland Elks Club, remains under renovation.

O'Donnell had donated $150,000 to the center and Hochul announced a $250,000 grant. O'Donnell announced she plans to donate more money to the center.

The Pride Center will offer support groups, family services, senior care, education and host community events.
