Rockland Drug Court Receives $200,000 For DUI Offenders

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Rockland County Drug Court has received $200,000 from the federal government to handle misdemeanor drunken driving offenders, according to lohud.com.

The court currently provides treatment alternatives to prison for non-violent drug users, the story said. The money will allow the court to add drivers who plead guilty to driving while intoxicated to their program for treatment alternatives, added lohud.com.
