State police in Monroe are investigating an incident of vandalism that took place at the Beth Shalom Cemetery in Warwick in October last year.
According to police, the vandalism consisted of black spray paint with the words “HEIL HITLER” and other Nazi symbolism, including SS bolts and a swastika sign, painted on the front entrance of the Beth Shalom Cemetery brick wall entrance.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in the case. Anyone with information can contact the Town of Warwick Police Department at (845) 986-3423 or state police at (845) 782-8497.
