ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 14-year-old boy vacationing in Rockland who went missing Aug. 21 has been found and is safe, Haverstraw Police announced Tuesday morning.
Lederky "Alex" Oge. a Haitian citizen, was located on Monday, police said.
"This would not have been possible without the assistance from the public," Haverstraw Police said. "We would like to thank all those who have called in with tips and information that lead to reuniting this child with family."

The Haverstraw Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating 14-year-old Lederky "Alex" Oge.
Oge is a Haitian citizen vacationing in the United States and staying with a family friend in the Village of Haverstraw, the police department said late Wednesday afternoon.
The missing child left the residence in Haverstraw on Monday, Aug. 21 and has not returned, police said.
Lederky is described as being 5-foot-5, 120 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a light blue T-shirt and tan colored shorts.
