The puppy, who is named Izzie, and a five-month-old kitten named Fiona, were stolen during a break-in at the shelter. Although there are no details on how Izzie was found, shelter officials said he is fine, said TWC News.

Humane Society officials said the thief came in through a back window on either June 6 or 7.

Anyone with information about the break-in, is asked to contact the Town of Wallkill Police at 692-6757, added TWC News.
