Mariella's Is A Haverstraw Hotspot For Italian Food

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. - Mariella's Pizzaria has been one of the most popular spots for pizza in Haverstraw for the last nine years, and two years ago, the addition of Mariella's Restaurant & Bar, provided the area with fine Italian food as well.

To make the best pizza, and serve the best food, you have to use the finest ingredients.

Owners Al and Dina Mariella make sure everything served at the pizzeria and restaurant are up to their high standards.

"I've been doing this for 40 years, and we always make sure we use good ingredients," Al Mariella told Daily Voice. "We use the best sauce. I make my own sauce. People love it.

"We use the best cheese, and it's the same for the restaurant - we use all the best and freshest ingredients.

"People love the pizza," added Mariella, who also had a restaurant for nine years in New City before moving to Haverstraw. "And we get a lot of very nice people in the restaurant, and they love the food. A lot of the people from New City followed me here because they love the food... they keep coming in."

Mariella's Pizzaria and Restaurant is located at 41 New Main St. in Haverstraw.
