Hours-Long Route 9W Closure In Both Direction Scheduled In Stony Point: Here's When

A busy stretch of Route 9W will be closed four hours during roadwork.

The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) says the closure in Rockland County will be in both directions in the town of Stony Point on Saturday, Sept. 28, between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. to facilitate maintenance activities, weather permitting.

The roadway work will be between Route 106 and Wayne Avenue.

Motorists should anticipate delays and follow the posted detour. Local residents will be able to access their properties.
