Festival Of Arts, Books And Culture Returns To JCC Rockland

WEST NYACK, N.Y. – JCC Rockland’s 11th annual Festival of Arts, Books and Culture will kick off Tuesday, Nov. 3 with a discussion with Shulem Deen, author of “All Who Go Do Not Return,” at 7 p.m. at JCC Rockland.

Deen’s memoir explores his life as a former member of the Skverers, one of the most insular Hasidic sects in the U.S., and his struggle with faith, family and community. Books may be purchased at Barnes & Noble, Nanuet (140 Rockland Plaza) prior to the event. The book will also be available for purchase at the JCC Rockland the night of the event for $16.

Tickets are $18 in advance or $23 at the door. A coffee and dessert reception will follow.
