Deen’s memoir explores his life as a former member of the Skverers, one of the most insular Hasidic sects in the U.S., and his struggle with faith, family and community. Books may be purchased at Barnes & Noble, Nanuet (140 Rockland Plaza) prior to the event. The book will also be available for purchase at the JCC Rockland the night of the event for $16.
Tickets are $18 in advance or $23 at the door. A coffee and dessert reception will follow.
