Celebrate Scottish Poet Robert Burns With Treats, Tastings In Haverstraw

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- Scottish national poet Robert Burns will be celebrated at Casa Hudson in Haverstraw, from 7-10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23.

It will be an evening filled with guided tasting of single malt whiskies and a classic whisky cocktail by David Furer. There will be a haggis demonstration and other Scottish treats by chef Anthony Accommando and a reading of Robert Burns Poetry.

The evening is made possible with support from Town Liquor Store. 

Cost is $45 per person. 

Casa Hudson is at 34 First St. in Haverstraw.
