5 Men Jailed In Child Predator Sting In Hudson Valley, Police Say
Five Hudson Valley men were arrested and charged with felony offenses during a two-day undercover investigation targeting crimes against children in Dutchess County, police said.
The operation, announced Monday, June 1, was conducted in Fishkill by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Wappinger along with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, and the Town of Fishkill Police Department.

A 35-year-old Orange County man who worked as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling was killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 45 over the weekend, police said.

A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot in the leg in Sullivan County, police said.
The shooting happened on Edgar Street in the Village of Liberty on Saturday, May 30, at around 10:15 p.m., the Village of Liberty Police Department announced on Sunday, May 31.
