A driver was flown to a hospital after crashing into a swamp in the Hudson Valley. The crash happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, Sept. 18 around 8:15 p.m., when a vehicle left the roadway at the intersection of Route 6 and Route 312 in Brewster and crashed down a 20-foot embankment into a swamp, according to the Brewster Fire Department. An interstate in the Hudson Valley was temporarily closed after a truck overturned, injuring the driver. The crash happened in Putnam County on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 10, when a truck crashed on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 just east of Route 312 in Brewster, according to the Brewster Fire Department. Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating after a woman was found unconscious with a single gunshot wound on a city street.
