Lane Reduction Scheduled On Taconic Parkway In Yorktown: Here's When Roadwork is scheduled on a busy stretch of the Taconic State Parkway. The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) is advising motorists in Northern Westchester that the roadway will be reduced to one lane northbound on Tuesday, Sept. 24, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., to facilitate bridge work. The closure will be in Yorktown between Exit 11 (Route 134) and Exit 13 (Underhill Avenue).

ID Released Of 33-Year-Old Man Killed In Crash On Parkway In Northern Westchester This story has been updated.  A crash on a busy parkway in Northern Westchester left a 33-year-old man dead.  The incident happened on Monday, July 8 around 7:20 p.m. on the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown near Granite Knolls Park, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police.  Arriving first responders found 33-year-old Ramon Feliu Disla of New York City ejected from his vehicle.
