Gun Buyback Event To Be Held In Peekskill
In an effort to protect residents from gun violence, the New York Attorney General's Office will be buying back firearms during an event to be held in Northern Westchester. The gun buyback event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Peekskill at 1040 Main St. (Route 6/202), the New York Attorney General's Office announced. Authorities are asking for help from the public in finding a man believed to have been involved in a Northern Westchester homicide. The Peekskill Police Department is currently searching for Walter F. Bustos-Solis, who they believe was involved in an incident that happened on Monday, June 10, the department announced on Tuesday, June 18.
