New T.J. Maxx Opens In Yorktown: Here's Where A space in Northern Westchester once occupied by a Kmart is now home to another popular retailer.  An all-new T.J. Maxx locale celebrated its opening on Thursday, Nov. 7 in Yorktown at the Yorktown Green Shopping Center at 335 Downing Dr. The department store occupies part of a former Kmart location that is now undergoing a "major revival," Yorktown officials said, adding that other businesses planned for the space include Five Below, Michaels, and a pickleball sports center.  "Yorktown is thriving, and people are making big investments," said Town Supervisor Ed Lachter…
