Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said Richard P. Danko, age 36, of Dover Plains, was charged following a complaint and an hours-long standoff at his residence on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1 in Dover Plains. Crashes, Dangerous Driving, Multiple DWIs Occur In Putnam Over Holiday Weekend Several people, including Connecticut residents, were apprehended for impaired driving over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the Hudson Valley, including several incidents involving crashes and dangerous driving behaviors, authorities announced. The arrests, which occurred in Putnam County between Tuesday, Nov. 26, and Wednesday, Dec. 4, were announced by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday.
