14-Year-Old Critically Injured In Lake Ronkonkoma Crash Involving Nesconset Woman A teenager suffered severe injuries in a crash near a Long Island intersection. It happened around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in Lake Ronkonkoma. A 56-year-old Nesconset woman was driving a 2024 Volkswagen SUV on Smith Road, near Cenacle Road, when the vehicle struck the 14-year-old boy who was rollerblading in the roadway, according to the Suffolk County Police. Teenage Trio Hospitalized After Rollover Crash On Parkway Exit Ramp In Westchester Three teenagers from Long Island were hospitalized after a rollover crash on a busy parkway exit ramp in Westchester that caused a several-hour-long closure, police said. The crash happened on Monday, June 3 around 7:40 p.m., when a vehicle rolled over adjacent to the exit ramp leading from the westbound Cross County Parkway to Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary.  The car had been occupied by an 18-year-old driver and two passengers aged 17 and 19.
