Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Fatally Stabbed At Suffolk County Home A suspect is on the loose after an overnight homicide on Long Island. Police responded to a 911 call reporting a stabbing in Rocky Point at 30 Quail Road on Saturday, Nov. 9, around 1:25 a.m.  Officers arrived to find Joseph Zoll, age 61, with stab wounds, according to Suffolk County Police.  Zoll was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. New Update: Massive Brush Fire In Suffolk County Covers 20 Acres It took almost 10 hours for responders to contain massive brush fire on Long Island is being battled by 18 responding departments. The blaze broke out at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, in Riverhead in a wooded area to the east side of 3000 Sound Avenue. It was finally contained at around 10 a.m. Saturday. Body Found After Fire At Storage Units In Capital Region State Police are investigating the discovery of a body following a structure fire at a storage facility in the region. Emergency services in Schoharie County responded around 4:10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, to reports of a fire at Superior Storage Units on Main Street in the town of Richmondville.  After firefighters extinguished the blaze, they found the remains of the dead person inside one of the units.
