ID Released Of Woman Fatally Struck Crossing Long Island Roadwau The identity has been released of a woman who was struck and killed in a crash on Long Island. The incident happened at about 1:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, on Hempstead Turnpike near the intersection of Uniondale Avenue in Uniondale.  A 25-year-old man driving a 1995 Lexus westbound on the turnpike hit the woman as she was crossing the road, according to Nassau County Police said. The driver remained at the scene, and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital by a Nassau County Police ambulance.  The woman, now ID'd as Delphine Henderson, age 67, of Hempstead. was pronounced…

56-Year-Old Dies From Injuries After 2-Vehicle Long Island Crash A man has died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in Glen Cove. A 2001 Mercedes-Benz ML 320 driven by a 64-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Brewster Street and making a left turn when it collided with a 2018 Honda motorcycle, Nassau County Police said. The motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Brewster Street in the vicinity of Mill Hill Road.  The motorcycle operator suffered severe head and facial injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital  in critical condition.
