A Westchester caseworker has succumbed to her injuries more than a month after she was brutally attacked while performing her duties. Maria Coto, age 56, died on Wednesday, June 19 as a result of injuries she sustained during an assault in Peekskill on Tuesday, May 14, according to Peekskill Police Lieutenant Adam Renwick. Authorities are asking for help from the public in finding a man believed to have been involved in a Northern Westchester homicide. The Peekskill Police Department is currently searching for Walter F. The driver of a minivan was airlifted following a crash with a full-size school bus in the region. The collision occurred in Sullivan County around 8:30 a.m., Monday, May 20, on Route 52 in Jeffersonville.
