A man was killed in a three-vehicle crash that caused an hours-long closure on a busy Northern Westchester road, police said. Brandon Plunkett, age 39, died in the crash on Thursday, Aug. 15 in North Castle that happened at around 3:30 p.m. on northbound Route 22 between Route 120 and Old Orchard Street, North Castle Police announced on Monday, Aug. 19. A man was killed after being ejected from a vehicle he was driving during a crash with an SUV in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred in Orange County around 9:50 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at East Main Street and Orange Street in Port Jervis. One person is in critical condition following a three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred in Orange County around 12:16 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, on Route 211 West in Wallkill. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, officers arrived to investigate the crash and found that one driver of a motorcycle was suffering from serious injuries. Fatal Crash: 34-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Capital Region
Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that left one person dead in the region. It happened around 5:10 p.m. Thursday, June 20, in Albany. The investigation determined that Albany County resident Michael F. Furch, age 34, of Guilderland, was operating a motorcycle when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a concrete barrier exiting I-787 on the off-ramp to I-90, New York State Police said. Furch was ejected from the motorcycle and landed on the shoulder of I-787 northbound below the off-ramp. Furch was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 57-year-old Fairfield County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a rock embankment. The incident occurred in Danbury around 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 10, in the area of 39 Brushy Hill Road.
