Physical Fight Leads To Charges For 17-Year-Old In Yorktown, Police Say A 17-year-old boy faces assault charges following an incident in Northern Westchester, police announced.  The incident happened on Wednesday, Jan. 8, when a domestic dispute prompted a police response in Yorktown, Yorktown Police said on Thursday, Jan. 9. Officers soon arrived at the location of the incident, which was not made public by the department, and determined a physical fight had occurred between the victim and the 17-year-old suspect.  The boy was then taken to Yorktown Police headquarters for processing and charged with third-degree assault, the department said. Hudson Valley Teen Runaway Nabbed For Stealing Cars, Burglary, Theft, Police Say A 16-year-old runaway in the region has been nabbed for allegedly stealing two vehicles, burglary, and theft. The arrest occurred in Ulster County on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the town of Lloyd. According to Lloyd Police Chief James Janso, the Lake Katrine teen was charged after a month-long investigation found the boy allegedly stole two vehicles, entered a residence, stole a cell phone and iPad, and took alcohol from a convenience store in Highland. 12-Year-Old Accused Of Making Threat To School In Region A 12-year-old student in the region was charged with making a terroristic threat at a junior/senior high school. The incident occurred in Sullivan County on Saturday, Oct. 19, in Fallsburg. According to Fallsburg Police Chief Brendan Pavese, the juvenile allegedly made the threats on Snapchat and included a picture of the Fallsburg Junior/Senior High School auditorium.  The threats, which mentioned shootings, came to the attention of police and school authorities via parents and students, both the police and school said.
