Dump Truck Tips Over, Spills Fluids In Croton: Driver Hospitalized A late-night rollover involving a dump truck disrupted operations and caused injuries at a train station in Westchester.  The incident occurred on Friday, Jan. 24, just before 10 p.m., when a truck rolled over at the Metro-North Rail Yards beneath the Croton Point Avenue overpass, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department.  Upon arrival, crews found that the dump truck had overturned, possibly due to the truck’s dump bed unknowingly rising while in motion. Dryer Sparks Blaze At Golf Course Clubhouse In Hudson Valley Firefighters raced to a golf course clubhouse in Northern Westchester after a dryer fire filled the building with smoke. The incident happened in Croton-on-Hudson on Monday, Nov. 4 just before 8:45 a.m., when a blaze began inside a dryer at the Hudson National Golf Course's clubhouse, according to the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department. Arriving firefighters found that the building was filled with smoke and quickly used a hose to put the fire out.
