Hudson Valley Man Admits To Assault, Drug Possession A man in the region is headed for prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge of attempted assault and possession of narcotics.  Dutchess County resident Rakim Paulin, age 43, of Beacon, pleaded on Thursday, Nov. 14, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi. Occupied Hudson Valley Home Damaged By Gunfire, Suspect Escapes: Police Police in the region are asking for information after an occupied home was damaged by gunfire. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12. on Rinaldi Boulevard. According to the City of Poughkeepsie Police, all responding officers and detectives searched for the suspect, who managed to escape.
