Snowplowing Truck Hits, Kills Woman In Capital Region Parking Lot
A woman has died after being struck by a pickup truck outside an apartment complex in the region. The Greene County incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in Coxsackie at the Peppertree Apartments. According to sheriff’s officials, a 66-year-old New Baltimore man was using a pickup truck to plow snow in the building’s parking lot when he struck a woman while backing up. The 70-year-old Coxsackie woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities had not released her identity as of Thursday, Jan. 18. The incident is under investigation.

Pair Of 25-Year-Olds Killed In Hit-Run Fairfield County Crash, Police Say
Two 25-year-old Fairfield County residents were killed in a crosswalk by an alleged hit-and-run driver. The incident took place in Stamford around 2 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Main Street. Man Killed After Being Dragged By Tractor-Trailer Down Main Street In Area
A pedestrian was dragged to death after climbing under a tractor-trailer in the Hudson Valley. The New Paltz Police Department received a report of an accident involving a pedestrian shortly before 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 near the area of the Wallkill Bridge.
