The Wallkill Office of Emergency Management issued an alert at approximately 5:30 a.m., cautioning that East Main Street will be closed between Ridgewood Avenue and Brookline Avenue as crews deal with the water main break. Wall Collapse Closes Poughkeepsie Road Crews are on the scene of a wall collapse that has closed a roadway in the City of Poughkeepsie. The concrete wall collapsed around 6 a.m. Thursday at 123 Cottage St., said City of Poughkeepsie Fire Chief Mark Johnson.  The building, a commercial structure, is used for storage, he said.  No one was injured and building officials are on the scene to determine the safety of the structure, he added. Cottage Street is closed while the road is cleared of debris.
