New Tappan Zee Bridge Expected To Open In Full Within Weeks
With an opening date scheduled for mid-September, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo made a tour of the new Tappan Zee Bridge on Monday to check out the progress. $1.2 Billion Westchester Water Tunneling Project Announced
Hundreds of jobs are being created as officials announce a billion dollar tunneling project in Westchester that will benefit more than nine million people. There may be delays, loud noises and “general frustrations” on several busy Putnam County roadways as highway crews begin an extensive project that is expected to last several weeks. New York State Department of Transportation crews are set to begin work in earnest on a multi-million dollar bridge replacement project on I-84 in Dutchess County.
