A Hudson Valley man is facing felony charges after police said he stole a luxury car, a television, and a computer from an area home.
Police responded to a report of a burglary at a home in Ulster County on State Route 209 in the Town of Rochester at about 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 4, according to New York State Police.
Investigators found that a 2012 Audi A4, a television, and a computer were missing from the home.

A man from the region was arrested after allegedly being caught in the basement of a housing complex sawing off copper pipes.
Sullivan County resident Joshua Whidbee, age 44, of Monticello, was nabbed on Monday, Dec. 13, after the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a burglary.
According to Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, of the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to the Sunny Forest Bungalow Colony on Liberty Road in the town of Thompson.

Area Man Nabbed For Burglary Of Auto Glass Business, Police Say
An area man has been charged with allegedly burglarizing a business and then stealing a car to get away.
Sullivan County resident Trevor Tompkins, age 25, of Monticello, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 29 for the Thursday, Nov. 11 robbery, police said.
According to Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police Department, Tompkins was arrested following an investigation in which he was caught on video surveillance.
The burglary took place around 4 a.m. at the Safelite Auto Glass store at 51 Forestburg Road in the Village of Monticello, Johnstone said.

Duo Busted After Burglarizing Area Elks Club, State Police Say
A pair of burglars took elaborate steps in an effort to pull off a heist of an area Elks Club in the Hudson Valley before they were busted red-handed, State Police said.
New York State Police troopers in Dutchess County responded to the Elks Club on Albany Post Road in Red Hook at approximately 4:10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 28, where there was a burglary alarm activation.
Upon arrival, police said that troopers found the power and alarm lines cut, damage to the interior of the building, as well as damaged cash registers, lottery machines, safe, and a jukebox with the money emptied out.

Two men have pleaded guilty to taking part in a burglary of an area motor-sports store that eventually led to the death of an occupant in their get-away van.
Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler announced on Monday, Oct. 18, that Luis Colon, age 27, and Jose Tavera, age 18, both of New Jersey, pleaded guilty to charges related to the burglary of a Town of Newburgh motor-sports store, in Orange County, where an occupant of the van that they were in which was transporting the stolen motorbikes and ATVs crashed, killing one occupant.
