Police: Millbrook Mayor Steals Town Funds To Pay Family Member's Loans DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Members of the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Poughkeepsie barracks have arrested Village of Millbrook Mayor Laura M. Hurley on a grand larceny charge after she allegedly misappropriated funds from the Town of Washington, state police said.
