Halloween Weekend Police Detail Nets 24 Arrests In Dutchess County

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. – A joint effort between multiple departments, including the Dutchess County Sheriff's office and state police, resulted in 24 arrests during Halloween weekend, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The various departments arrested 15 people for impaired driving, along with nine other arrests.

Other departments involved in the effort included local officers from Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, East Fishkill, Millerton, Wappingers Falls and Red Hook, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal.

All departments ran saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints.
