The 10-show, eight-city tour also includes two nights at the Beacon Theater May 22 & 23.
It’s been 25 years since Elvis debuted the wheel, which includes several songs from his immense catalog. He’s done it with a full band and while on an acoustic tour with Nick Lowe.
Although he donated the original wheel England’s Hartlepool Museum of Showbusiness Machinery, this year’s model is built from the original blueprints.
The game show-styled wheel holds the titles of 40 songs. A different audience member is brought onstage to spin the wheel to determine each successive song.
While their song is being played, fans will have a choice of sitting in the “Hostage to Fortune Go-Go Cage” or in the onstage “Society Lounge,” where they will be served light refreshments.
