Join, Watch Dragon Boat Race, Enjoy Asian Festival In Poughkeepsie
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Mark your calendar for the third annual Dutchess Dragon Boat Race & Festival, Saturday, July 23 on the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie.Join or watch the spectacle the colorful race, a benefit for two organizations, Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation and Arts Mid-Hudson. The associated Asian Cultural Festival offers food, music, dancing and kids' games.
Men and women, teenagers, beginners, and spectators of all ages can enjoy a day of friendly competition and get some easy exercise with friends.

County Player Kids Bring Sounds Of Broadway To Wappingers Falls
WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – The County Player Falls Theatre will host “County Players Broadway's Kids: A Musical Revue” Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
Directed by Tom Lawrence and Anna Marie Paolercio, County Players will showcase talented local kids as they perform songs from some of Broadway’s greatest and most popular musicals, such as “Les Misérables,” “The Sound of Music,” “Bye, Bye Birdie,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Oliver!,” “Annie,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Gypsy” and more.

Sample Organic-Artisanal Vinegars At Lagrangeville Monastery
LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. – Our Lady of the Resurrection Monastery in Lagrangeville will host the Monastery Vinegar Festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors can sample and purchase the only organic-artisanal vinegars produced in the Hudson Valley following an ancient monastic method, along with other food items from the Monastery farm and kitchen, including tapenade, pesto, chutney, applesauce, butter, relishes, dried herbs and tonics.
Beer vinegar and cherry wine vinegar will be new additions this year.
