Lane Reduction To Slow Traffic On I-684 In Northern Westchester: Here's Where Traffic on a stretch of I-684 in Westchester and Fairfield counties is set to be affected by a series of lane reductions, officials announced.  Both directions of Interstate 684 in North Castle and Greenwich, between Exit 2 (Route 120) and Exit 3 (Route 22) will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and Thursday, Sept. 5, the New York State Department of Transportation announced.  The lane closures will be put into place between 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 5 a.m. on Thursday.  The traffic impacts will allow crews to perform bridge work, officials said.

Railroad Crossing On Busy Hudson Valley Road To Close For Several Days: Here's Where Part of a well-traveled roadway in the Hudson Valley will close to traffic for several days as a railroad crossing is replaced.  Beginning on Friday, Aug. 9 at 11:59 p.m., Route 312 in the Putnam County village of Brewster will close at the Dykeman Railroad Crossing next to the intersection with Ice Pond Road, the Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services announced on Friday, July 26.  The closure will continue until Monday, Aug. 12 at 4 p.m., officials added, adding that it will allow crews to replace the railroad crossing.  Motorists in the area can use Intersta…
