Man Nabbed With Loaded Rifle, Drugs After Sending Threats In Hudson Valley: Police A 56-year-old Hudson Valley man was caught with controlled narcotics and an illegally possessed weapon following an investigation into threatening messages, police said. Fatal Overnight Crash: 57-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Danbury A 57-year-old Fairfield County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a rock embankment. The incident occurred in Danbury around 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 10, in the area of 39 Brushy Hill Road. According to Erin Henry, a spokesman for the Danbury Police, Charles Preston, of Danbury, was found in the roadway by patrol officers who responded to a reported accident in the area. Missing Danbury Children Ages 2, 6 Found Safe This story has been updated. Two missing Connecticut children who were reported missing have been found safe. According to Erin Henry of the Danbury Police Department, 6-year-old Caio Deoliveria-Soares and 2-year-old Maria Deoliveria-Soares of Fairfield County in Danbury have been found safe.
