A 56-year-old Hudson Valley man was caught with controlled narcotics and an illegally possessed weapon following an investigation into threatening messages, police said. Putnam County resident Kevin Willis of Southeast was arrested on Friday, Oct. 18 around 3:45 p.m. after he was found with narcotics and a firearm he was prohibited from having, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Fatal Overnight Crash: 57-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Danbury
A 57-year-old Fairfield County man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a rock embankment. The incident occurred in Danbury around 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 10, in the area of 39 Brushy Hill Road. According to Erin Henry, a spokesman for the Danbury Police, Charles Preston, of Danbury, was found in the roadway by patrol officers who responded to a reported accident in the area. Missing Danbury Children Ages 2, 6 Found Safe
This story has been updated. Two missing Connecticut children who were reported missing have been found safe. According to Erin Henry of the Danbury Police Department, 6-year-old Caio Deoliveria-Soares and 2-year-old Maria Deoliveria-Soares of Fairfield County in Danbury have been found safe.
