Security For World Cricket Cup In NY Ramped Up After Apparent Terror Threat In the wake of an ominous message shared by a pro-ISIS group, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has announced that the World Cricket Cup, held at a Long Island stadium, will see increased security measures. Hochul’s announcement came just days before the first match of the International Cricket Council’s World Cup is set to be held at Eisenhower Stadium in East Meadow.
