Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Fatal Crash: Person Struck By Car On Route 110 In Melville A person died after being hit by a car overnight on a busy Long Island roadway. It happened at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, in Melville, on Broadhollow Road (Route 110), between Spagnoli Road and Ruland Road.  A 23-year-old Huntington Station man was driving a 2003 Toyota sedan northbound in the left lane when he struck the man who was crossing the road, Suffolk County Police said. Advance Auto Parts To Close Over 700 Stores A nationwide auto parts retailers says it will close over 700 stores as part of “a strategic plan to improve business performance.” Advance Auto Parts, which has about 4,800 total stores, and locations in almost every state, made the announcement on Thursday, Nov. 14.
