One Dead, Another Injured In Violent Altercation At Hudson Valley Auto Parts Store A violent altercation at an Orange County auto parts store left one man dead from a gunshot and another injured from stab wounds, police said. The incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 6, at the AutoZone store at 536 Broadway in Newburgh. According to Mike Neppl, spokesman for the city of Newburgh Police, officers responding to a call for a stabbing discovered two men injured at the store. One man had sustained stab wounds, while the other was shot at least once. Officers immediately rendered medical aid to both individuals. New Arrest Made In Library Parking Lot Assault In Hudson Valley Two Hudson Valley men have been charged in connection with an assault.  The incident occurred in Orange County, in the municipal parking lot of the Newburgh Free Library, 124 Grand St., on Sunday, May 19. According to City of Newburgh Chief of Staff Mike Neppl, detectives arrested Marcos Luna-Dedios, a 34-year-old City of Newburgh resident, on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Running Into 2 Police Cars After Home Depot Theft A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly stealing from a Home Depot and then crashing into two police cruisers to escape before crashing. Orange County resident Clarence Hulzenga, age 48, of Highland, was arrested in the town of Newburgh on Wednesday, July 10 in Newburgh. According to Lt. Dennis Carpenter of the Newburgh Police, Hulzenga ran from the store after the theft to a pickup truck in the parking lot and, to get away, ran into a town of Newburgh and New York State Police cruisers.
