Body Of Man From Neighboring Town Found Along Road In Carmel Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was found along a Hudson Valley road.  The body of  Northern Westchester County resident Charles Flowers, age 81, of Somers, was discovered on Stoneleigh Avenue in Putnam County on Wednesday, Oct. 30 around 1 p.m. in the town of Carmel, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. Fugitive Wanted For Sexual Assault Charged With DWI After Crash In Hudson Valley A 31-year-old man wanted in another state on sexual assault charges was arrested after allegedly fleeing the scene of a Hudson Valley crash he caused while drunk, police said. Putnam County resident Herson Omar Marroquin Felix of Carmel was arrested on Friday, July 10 in connection with a hit-run crash that happened in Carmel earlier on the same day, authorities said. Crash Causes Serious Injuries On Busy Hudson Valley Road A serious Hudson Valley crash left a stretch of a busy roadway temporarily closed and resulted in serious injuries.  The incident happened in Putnam County on Tuesday, June 4 around 5:40 p.m., when a serious crash occurred on Stoneleigh Avenue (Route 35) in Carmel.  According to Carmel Police, no deaths occurred, but the incident caused serious injuries.
