State Trooper From Region Suspended Without Pay After Being Accused Of Robbery
A New York State Trooper has been suspended without pay following his arrest for an alleged robbery in the region. The arrest occurred in Sullivan County in the village of Liberty on Tuesday, Aug. 13, for an incident in 2023. A 22-year-old man has admitted to taking part in the robbery of a Hudson Valley electronics store before fleeing to Westchester with the proceeds, officials announced. Manhattan resident Aguibou Karambe pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Aug. 6 in Orange County Court to second-degree attempted robbery in connection with an incident in February 2023 that happened in the village of Monroe, Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler announced on Friday, Aug. 9. Police in the region are looking for a suspect who allegedly assaulted a Burger King clerk and robbed the restaurant after they refused his coupon. Duo Nabbed After Knifepoint Robbery In Hudson Valley, Police Say
Two suspects are behind bars in connection with an armed robbery in the region. The Dutchess County incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 5, in the Town of Poughkeepsie’s Arlington neighborhood. A 34-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly attempting to shoot a homeowner during a Hudson Valley home invasion and robbery. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 9:40 p.m., Monday, May 20, on Dickens Street in Stony Point. According to Lt.
