John Kezek, 39, of Knoxville, Tennessee, formerly of Florida, New York, was sentenced following his guilty plea to tampering with public records and official misconduct, said Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh. Man From Region Nabbed For Assault, Knocking Victim's Teeth Out, Police Say A man from the region was charged with assault after he allegedly broke into a home and knocked a victim's teeth out.  The incident occurred in Sullivan County on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Town of Thompson. According to Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, deputies encountered Xavier Vega, age 30, of Monticello. On Tuesday, Oct. 29, Cornelius Stubbs, age 53, of Newburgh, was convicted by a jury in Orange County Court of attempted murder for having attempted to cause the death of a Newburgh woman by commanding another man to kill her.
