Pop superstar Justin Timberlake took time out of his European tour to face a New York judge in his alleged drunk driving case on Long Island. The former NSYNC frontman pleaded not guilty to one count of driving while intoxicated during a virtual appearance before Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on Friday morning, Aug. 2. Timberlake, age 43, of Franklin, Tennessee, was arrested shortly after leaving the posh American Hotel in Sag Harbor, around 12:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, after a night of drinking with friends, according to multiple news reports. Man Accused Of Biting, Assaulting Deputy After Crash In Hudson Valley
A man has been charged with allegedly biting and assaulting a deputy attempting to arrest him following a crash in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County, in the town of LaGrange, at around 12 a.m. on Monday, July 29. According to Captain John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, Jordon A. A 31-year-old man wanted in another state on sexual assault charges was arrested after allegedly fleeing the scene of a Hudson Valley crash he caused while drunk, police said. Putnam County resident Herson Omar Marroquin Felix of Carmel was arrested on Friday, July 10 in connection with a hit-run crash that happened in Carmel earlier on the same day, authorities said. Two men from the region were nabbed for alleged felony DWI in two separate incidents. Dutchess County residents Christopher J. Duquette, age 66, of Hyde Park, and Nelson Acevedo, age 53, of Beekman, were both charged on Sunday, June 30, said Capt. John Watterson with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
