House Fire Causes Road Closure In Mahopac (

A house fire has closed a stretch of road to traffic in Putnam County. Hill Street in Mahopac between Bullethole Road and Hitchcock Hill Road is closed as firefighters battle a house fire in the area, Carmel Police announced on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at around 3:30 p.m. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use detours. Traffic Alert: Tractor-Trailer Hits Overpass, Closing 3 Lanes Of Route 17 In Orange County
A tractor-trailer hauling an excavator hit an overpass in Orange County and rolled over, blocking three eastbound traffic lanes on Route 17. The incident occurred in Orange County early Tuesday, Dec. 10, in Goshen at Exit 124. Trooper Jennifer Alvarez said there are detours in place. But traffic is backed up.
