5 From Region Nabbed On Weapons Charges During Stop Five people were nabbed on alleged weapons-related charges during a traffic stop in the region. The incident occurred in Sullivan County at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, on Route 17K in the town of Bloomingburg.  Trooper Steven Nevel said troopers noticed a 2017 GMC Yukon traveling westbound on 17K, violating numerous vehicle and traffic laws. Mercedes Theft Leads To Arrest Of Hudson Valley Man For DWI/Drugs, Police Say A Hudson Valley man nabbed for the alleged theft of a 2005 gold Mercedes from a Budget 19 Motel led to his arrest for a host of charges, including alleged DWI/Drugs.  The incident occurred in Ulster County around 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, at the Budget 19 Motel on Route 28 in Kingston. Northern Westchester Man Nabbed For Burglary After Returning To Crime Scene, Police Say A Northern Westchester man was hit with a felony burglary charge after allegedly stealing a vehicle and breaking into a Hudson Valley home before returning to the crime scene while police were canvassing the area, authorities said.  The burglary happened in Putnam County on Saturday, June 8, when a Mahopac resident told officers that a man had been seen on his Ring camera trying to break into his home, according to Carmel Police.  Authorities soon responded to the home and found a broken window where the suspect had been able to get inside.  Officers then searched the reside…
