2-Alarm Tractor Fire Spreads To Barn In Hudson Valley Firefighters stopped a barn fire from spreading after a tractor caught fire in Dutchess County.  The blaze happened on Monday, Sept. 22, when crews were first dispatched around 2:15 p.m. to Woods Road in Tivoli for a reported tractor fire. While on the way, the call was upgraded to a barn fire, according to the Tivoli Fire Department.  The first arriving engine confirmed a working barn fire, followed quickly by Tivoli’s second engine, which hit the closest hydrant to provide extra water. 10 Sheep Killed In Barn Blaze In Hudson Valley A devastating barn fire in Dutchess County early Tuesday morning, Feb. 18 claimed the lives of 10 sheep, officials said. The blaze happened at 546 North Quaker Hill Rd. at around 5 a.m., according to Pawling Fire Marshal Everett White. Upon arrival, crews found the structure engulfed in flames.  Tragically, 10 sheep inside the barn died in the fire.
