A Capital Region man raped a girl younger than 15 years old at a local home, according to police. Deacon M. Mullarkey, 20, of Providence, was arrested Sunday, Aug. 2, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s office said. Mullarkey had “vaginal and oral sexual contact” with a victim under age 15, investigators said. Authorities began investigating Mullarkey following a sexual assault report at a Providence home in July, according to the sheriff’s office.
