Aggressive Driving Campaign: State Police Conduct Detail In Hudson Valley
After numerous serious crashes on the Palisades Parkway with fatalities in the Hudson Valley, the New York State Police conducted an aggressive driving campaign. The campaign, held in Rockland County from Monday, May 16 to Sunday, May 28, the effort was held to deter motorists from speeding and reckless driving, said Trooper Steven Nevel. On several occasions, the State Police were assisted by the Rockland Sheriff’s Office. ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Palisades Parkway
The identity has been released of a man found dead on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. State Police and the Rockland Sheriff's Office responded on Friday, July 3 at approximately 11:15 p.m. to a report of a body found in the southbound lanes of the parkway near exit 12 in the town of Pomona. An investigation revealed that Genoval Gonzalez Quintana, 47, of Spring Valley, was struck and killed by a vehicle while he walking on the Palisades Parkway, state police said. 17-Year-Old Used Knife To Puncture Walls In Stony Point Home
A 17-year-old Stony Point resident was arrested for damaging his home on Route 210 following a fight with his father, according to the Stony Point Police. The incident took place around 2:45 p.m. Sunday when the teen damaged sheetrock walls in his home using a knife to puncture the walls numerous times and punched four holes in the walls, said Lt.
