Newburgh Snow Emergency Goes Into Effect
With as much as a foot of snow and sleet expected to blanket Orange County on Wednesday, Newburgh city officials have declared a snow emergency. Newburgh City Manager Michael Ciaravino has declared a snow emergency in Newburgh, effective as of 6 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, during which, snow emergency parking regulations will be in effect until it is lifted. According to Ciaravino, a Snow Emergency automatically goes into effect any time there is a prediction of snow of more than two and a half inches. Snow Emergency Declared In Newburgh
With Mother Nature expected to drop as much of a foot of snow in the Hudson Valley Wednesday, officials in Newburgh have declared a Snow Emergency, which will be in effect indefinitely. Newburgh City Manager Michael Ciaravino announced that after consulting with city officials, the Snow Emergency was declared, effective as of 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6.
