An infectious disease expert said the growing surge in COVID-19 cases led by the Omicron variant will make it difficult for the United States to keep everyday life operating. 19: New Rules Announced In These Cluster Zones, Including In Hudson Valley
New rules have been announced for COVID-19 hotspots in New York State that have cropped up in cluster zones in Brooklyn, Queens, and Broome, Orange and Rockland counties. The new rules will be in effect for a minimum of 14 days. UPDATE: The long-distance swimmer believed drowned during the next-to-last-leg of a 120-mile marathon was an internationally-recognized AIDS researcher, activist and former professor at the University of North Carolina.
