One Dead, 1 Hospitalized Following Head-On Crash In Region
One man is dead, and another is hospitalized following a head-on crash in Sullivan County.
The incident occurred around 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, at the intersection of Cignarale Road in Loch Sheldrake.
According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, the crash involved a 2012 Toyota Sienna minivan driven by John Bullock, age 60, of Loch Sheldrake, and a 2015 Buick Encore operated by Benjamin DeVault, age 19, of Hurleyville.

Area Murder Victim Was A Musician Who Enjoyed Hiking, Fishing
A visitation is planned for an area musician and tattoo artist who was murdered earlier this week in the region.
Sullivan County resident Michael A. Hankins, age 29, of Woodridge, was killed on Tuesday, Jan. 11 in Shawangunk in Ulster County, said the New York State Police.
Walter D. Post Jr, age 26, of Shawangunk, was arrested and charged with Hankins murder, state police said.

Three Behind Bars Following Violent Robbery, Attack, State Police Say
Three men are behind bars after allegedly invading a home, dragging a resident outside, and then beating and robbing them.
The incident was reported on Friday, May 1, when New York State Police responded to a Sullivan County home in Loch Sheldrake for a reported attack, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel.
Desaan Clark, 19, and Unique Junior, 21, both of Monticello, along with Kaseem Mcneal, 26, of Hurleysville, allegedly went to the home on Wednesday, April 29, and dragged a resident from the home and repeatedly hit the victim.
