A man with a suspended license faces charges after he was allegedly caught driving a stolen vehicle on the Taconic State Parkway in Northern Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Tuesday, March 28, when police in Yorktown were alerted that an alleged stolen vehicle was traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway, according to Yorktown Police. Police arrested a 44-year-old man after he allegedly crashed his vehicle while intoxicated in Northern Westchester. At about 2:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, police responded to the area of 3303 Crompond Road (Route 202) in Yorktown following a report of a crash, according to the Yorktown Police Department. A Westchester County man on probation with three previous DWI convictions is facing a host of charges after being busted allegedly drinking and driving without a license in Scarsdale. An officer on patrol at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Weaver Street on Monday, Feb. 4 was alerted by a License Plate Reader that a 2013 Chevy Traverse that drove by had a “suspended or revoked” registration. Shortly after 1 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, officers from the Orangetown Police Department stopped Anthony Vero, 36, on Franklin Street after he was involved in an alleged motor vehicle crash while operating his vehicle while intoxicated. A 52-year-old Rockland County man is facing multiple felonies after being busted allegedly driving drunk in Blauvelt, according to police in Orangetown.
